Klezmer in Mexican!

With the Mexican band Klezmerson, we get a unique fusion of Eastern European Jewish klezmer music, Mexican son, gypsy music, ingredients from the Middle East and Latin America, as well as elements from jazz and rock.

Since its inception in 2003, the band has played countless concerts on the European and American continents. They have been applauded with very good reviews both for the albums they have released and live performances. The soundscape stands out from anything we have heard so far in the klezmer genre.

We are proud to be able to present them to a Norwegian audience for the first time!

“Taking the Jewish tradition to some fresh and uncharted new places! Featuring a large ensemble, Klezmerson is one of the most creative and unique bands in Jewish music today”
